art
The art developed by Anne Anicet is a material painting by the accumulation and superimposition of surplus from the confection made with the technique of textile collage. This process can be considered an upcycling, which means the reuse of a material that has already been used or the residue of a product as it was found, without recycling).
In line with this reasoning, these works aim to use textile waste in the creation of new textile substrates through collage to replenish the visual arts area with the creation of innovative works with environmental responsibility.
To this end, investigations are carried out on the expressive possibilities of industrial waste combined with the development of new technologies for the construction of works of art within the presuppositions of sustainability.
